2. Types of Data Collected

Among the Personal Data collected by this Site, either independently or through third parties, are:

a)1 Navigation Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses, the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.

(b) Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages2 through the contact forms on the Site, or to the Holder's email addresses, entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is necessary to respond to3 requests, as well as any other personal data included in the missive (e.g., first name, last name, telephone number, project details).

Specific summary disclosures will be progressively reported or displayed on pages of the site set up for particular on-demand services (e.g., newsletter subscription, restricted area registration).

4. Method and Place of Processing

The processing is carried out by means of computer and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and logic strictly related to the indicated purposes.

In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, other subjects involved in the organization of this Site (administrative, sales, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external subjects (such as third party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) also appointed, if necessary, Data Processors by the Data Controller may have access to the Data. The updated list of Data Processors can always be requested from the Data Controller.

The Data are processed at the Owner's operational headquarters and at any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. Data may be transferred to a country other than the one where the User is located.5 For more information on the location of processing, the User may refer to the section on data transfer details.

5. Retention Period

Data are processed and kept for the time required by the purposes for which they were collected.

  • I Personal data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User will be retained until the execution of that contract is completed and for the next 10 years for legal obligations (e.g., record keeping).
  • I Personal Data collected for purposes attributable to the legitimate interest of the Owner will be retained until that interest is satisfied. The User may obtain additional information6 regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Holder by contacting him/her.
  • When processing is based on the User's consent7 (e.g., marketing), the Controller may keep the Personal Data longer until said consent is revoked.
  • Browsing data do not persist for more than seven days (except for any need for the investigation of crimes by the judicial authority).8

At the end of the retention period, the Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the expiration of this period the right of access, deletion, rectification and the right to Data portability can no longer be exercised.

6. Rights of the Interested Party9

Users (data subjects) may exercise certain rights with respect to the Data processed by the Data Controller. In particular, the User has the right to:

  • Withdraw consent at any time.10
  • Oppose the processing of your Data.
  • Accessing your Data11 (Right of access).
  • Verify and request rectification (right of rectification).
  • Obtaining restriction of processing.
  • Obtain the deletion or removal of your Personal Data (right to be forgotten).
  • Receive your Data or have it transferred to another owner (right to data portability).
  • Propose complaints to the relevant data protection supervisory authority (for Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali12 - www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. How to Exercise Rights

To exercise their rights, Users may address a request to the contact details of the Owner13 indicated in this document. Requests are filed free of charge and processed by the Holder as soon as possible, in any case within one month.

8. Transfer of Data Abroad

The Data Controller reserves the right to transfer personal data to third countries outside the European Union. Such transfer is legitimate if it is made to a country that is the recipient of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the basis of adequate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses - SCC) or, in the absence of such conditions, if one of the exceptions provided by the GDPR (e.g., the explicit consent of the data subject) exists.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to Users on this page. Therefore, please consult this page regularly, referring to the date of last modification indicated at the bottom.

If the changes affect processing whose legal basis is consent, the Owner will re-collect the User's consent, if necessary.
